Every Member of Our Staff Cares About Your Success

Why does our staff care so much? It’s because many of them have been in your shoes. Many of our staff are in recovery and know firsthand the joy you will experience when you break your dependence on drugs and alcohol.

Josh Dressel

Co-Founder

I am in recovery myself and was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and returned to Toledo late in my 20’s. I jumped headfirst into sobriety and recovery, and the progress I have seen at the Ohio facilities keeps me coming back every day, eager to do more and help more people. The difference between Ohio Detox Center and a lot of other detox facilities is our abstinence-based program. We believe abstinence and participation in a recovery support system, like the 12-step model, will provide results. The other thing that stands out about our facility is our philosophy to help everyone that calls us to find the right resources. If we cannot accommodate potential clients, we will try our hardest to find a place for them within another facility or organization. Success in recovery is very much about accountability. Every individual is responsible for holding themselves accountable, but we also make sure that they know that we expect them to be held accountable to us as well.

Josh Dressel is a Co-Founder at Ohio Detox Center. He strives everyday to make Ohio Detox Center the best environment possible for growth and recovery.

Morgan Cynthia Fair, MSW, LSW

Director of Clinical Programming of the Detoxification and Residential Treatment Centers

My favorite part of my job is empowering clients to be the best version of themselves they can be! My passion for this field grew during my internship with this company; afterward, I knew I didn’t want to leave. Watching people enter the detoxification process and seeing them progress through treatment is such a beautiful process. Watching clients be vulnerable with themselves, their peers, and their families is inspirational. I am not in recovery myself, but I have family members that have struggled with addiction. Giving back to the community and working to end the stigma towards addiction and mental health are what motivate me to continue working in this field.

I assist in developing day-to-day programming for the detoxification and residential treatment centers. I help manage the therapists and case managers. I also work to ensure our clients learn while also having some sober fun! What sets Ohio Detox Center apart from other treatment centers is that we have a blended group of employees who are in recovery as well as not in recovery. We focus on empowering clients and assisting them in building a new sober life. We don’t focus on the negative aspects of addiction; we encourage positive, healthy outlooks on life.

If you are hesitant to reach out for help, please don’t wait. We have created a judgment-free atmosphere to ensure that you grow in your recovery. We focus not only on the individual client but also on their family through our outreach program. We teach positive coping skills through a multitude of treatment modalities and tailor our treatment to individual needs. Always remember you are worthy and deserving of a sober life!

Jenna Turek

Discharge Planner

My job is assisting clients with their aftercare planning. I also help clients with case management services. My passion for working in this field is in guiding others through their recovery journeys. Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to help others, but did not know how. When I experienced family members struggling with addiction, I knew this was my calling. It is so wonderous to be able to spread hope and positivity in the community. I take advantage of the time I get with clients and really try to understand their story and get to know them so we can produce an individualized aftercare treatment plan that works best for them.

The most rewarding part of my job is seeing client’s growth. It is amazing to see the change clients experience from day one of their detoxification to the end of their residential stay. Witnessing clients rediscover themselves is beautiful. Ohio Detox Center stands out because of our amazing staff. We always work together, hold each other accountable, and produce innovative ideas to ensure that our clients receive the best care that they deserve. The most rewarding part is seeing clients continue treatment at our 30-day inpatient program and end up completing 180 days (about 6 months).

Jenna Turek is the Discharge Coordinator at Ohio Detox Center. Jenna is currently in school pursuing her Bachelor’s in Social Work. She grew up in Toledo, Ohio and has always loved the city.

Bridget Dewulf

Clinical Therapist – Ohio Detox Center

I have an older brother who is in recovery, he initially made me passionate about this field. Since working in substance abuse treatment for almost 8 years, I am passionate about helping others find joy in life again. I want to help client’s see their worth and how amazing life can be without drugs or alcohol.

I love working at Ohio Detox Center because of the staff. Every staff member here genuinely cares and wants what is best for every client. The staff are supportive of each other and have each other’s backs. I love that we hire people in recovery and past clients. The most rewarding part of working here is seeing the clients make the necessary changes to improve their life. Having them call or come back and share things they have gained in recovery, come back and work with us, is a beautiful thing to see.

Kamerion Mylek

Operations Manager – Ohio Detox Center

I make sure that the day-to-day functions of the building flow properly to ensure the best client care and ensure the work environment is healthy and appropriate to keep staff and client satisfaction at its full potential. My motivation to work in this field stems from wanting to help others, and people struggling in my community. I am driven to do what I do because of my own personal history with substance abuse, and subsequent recovery. I truly enjoy helping our clients recover from addiction as I have. I believe that I can utilize my past and present self to plant seeds of recovery in the minds of others.

My goal at Ohio Detox Center is to provide accurate and individualized care for all clients to be certain that they are on the path to recovery. We stand out because of our dedicated staff members.
