About Ohio Detox Center
The Ohio Detox Center provides high quality addiction treatment, covered by Ohio Medicaid. Our 41-bed inpatient facility offers medical detox and inpatient treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. At our campus in Maumee, Ohio we will guide you through detox and early recovery so you can build a life beyond your imagination.
The idea behind Ohio Detox was born in Lucas County, Ohio, between recovering addicts filled with a passion to fight back against addiction. We were tired of unanswered calls for help and being unable to connect addicts with the right resources they needed to get sober and stay sober. We are able to provide the highest quality care, covered by insurance from the Ohio Medicaid program. Our philosophy is to provide individualized, comprehensive treatment for addiction. What started in Toledo has grown immensely, and helped change so many lives.
Clinical care is overseen by our Director of Clinical Services and Director of Nursing, Krista Caputo, oversees our team of nurses and nurse practitioners. Around the clock medical supervision ensures your safety and comfort while you detox or begin our inpatient residential program. From directors to the front line staff, each team member brings their education, training and experience to your care. Many of our staff are in long term recovery. They have borne the weight of addiction, and are eager to help you.
Detox
Our medical detox program provides a safe environment with around the clock monitoring to ensure your safety while you detox from drugs or alcohol.
We develop an individualized plan with every individual, based on your own substance abuse history and immediate needs during withdrawal and early recovery. We take care of your physical well-being as you work towards total rehabilitation: physical, mental and spiritual.
Inpatient
Inpatient care begins to address the roots of your addiction. Once you are through acute withdrawal and no longer dependent on drugs and alcohol, we begin an intense therapy plan. Treatment focuses on helping you build and utilize the skills needed for long term recovery.
During inpatient care, you are able to take the time away from any negative circumstances that are contributing through to your addiction so we can implement an intensive, focused treatment plan for your needs.
